Snow Ice Cream Recipe with Sweetened Condensed Milk
Ingredients
4 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or another flavor you love)
1 pinch salt
4 cups clean snow
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the condensed milk, milk, sugar, flavoring, and salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Set the bowl and mixture in the freezer to chill while you go get fresh, clean snow (less than 20 minutes).
Removing the cream mixture from the freezer, add the snow to the mixture, and gently fold.
Add enough snow that the snow ice cream holds together when scooped and it is not too wet or runny.
Serve immediately. It thaws and melts quickly.
Toppings are optional and fun.
Try caramel sauce, jimmies, sprinkles, crumbled candy, diced nuts, hot fudge, whipped cream, strawberry sauce, or crumbled cookies.
